Tablet Guy cooler than Channel 9 Guy? |
Loading ...Layne Heiny responded to my blog to Lora yesterday regarding what is new with the Tablet PC? He delivered a link to a fresh Channel 9 video from the new Mobile PC Team [53:18, watching it now]. Lora’s WhatIsNew link is complete with the gleeful, purple pen toting Tablet Guy! He’s sure to ink many appearances around the web.
Consider the success of the frisky, yellow Channel 9 Guy and Microsoft could be onto something soft, squeezable and friendly. Just the type of warmth they need to communicate to combat that whole Death Star image.
Now how do I get my hands on one of these Tablet Guys? I’m going to be up at Microsoft tonight, in fact. Scoble, do you have the hookup? Lora? Bueller?
Come to think of it, I don’t have a Channel 9 Guy either. I’ll put in a pitch for one of those too. Please. Pretty please?

Unfortunately I have an interview from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and then have to be home. Bummer. I’ll leave some nine guys in my office, though, and Lora has some that I just gave her.

Thank you again for the Tablet PC Guy / Channel 9 Guy hookup, Lora and Robert. I’m sorry I missed you, Robert and that I couldn’t take the grand building tour to see the new Mobile PC team in action, Lora. I will be up there again in a few months I’m sure, if not sooner. I will let you both know when that will be.
Traffic northbound was surprisingly good, BTW, only took like 40 minutes to get up there from our office. Southbound was a mess though. Felt sorry for the commuters!
