No, really, seriously, as part kicking off the November launch of Star Wars Battlefront II at the Digital Life show, New York’s Mayor Bloomberg declared October 13, 2005 “Star Wars Day.”
LucasArts packed New York City’s Times Square with more than 50 Stormtroopers for the launch of Star Wars Battlefront II today. Darth Vader was on hand to oversee the proceedings.
Since the Yankees were eliminated from a run at the World Series, despite their mammoth payroll, George Steinbrenner might want to spring for Darth and crew to join next season’s team. When in doubt, turn to The Force.
