Kind of surprised me seeing Java as #1 on this list. Perl is ahead of PHP at #4 and #5 respectively. C# is on the move at #7 and Visual Basic is #6. VB.NET is slipping on the list down to #15.

Can’t go wrong with good ole C, weighing in at #2, followed by C++. Not making the top 20 is Ruby.
