Chris Pirillo used to have this annoying handwritten like font for his blog entries and thank goodness he exorcised it, but somehow his girlfriend, Ponzi, has picked up the Manitou (somewhat obscure Graham Masterton reference for you, Chris, now see if you can decipher).

Meeting the charming Ponzi has eluded me thus far, but I’ve heard she was about to come to a few of the Seattle blogger meetups from Chris and others, so maybe at a future one — and if the offending ink still exists — when Jowl and I start going again (once school starts back again, most likely) I’ll get the chance to tell her the following personally:

Get out the garlic, please! Scoble can’t stand it either and you know he also means this in a friendly way. This is text, people, it needs to be easy, easy, easy, easy to read!

And yeah, I suppose the text could easily be changed by calling into an RSS reader or scraping the page with a couple lines of code, but I still prefer to visit people’s blogs to read the full entries via their web pages the way they were presented– and perhaps to click on their ads if related and interesting [hint, hint].
