TDavid - first and most importantly, am sorry to learn about your mom.

As always, your questions and analysis challenge me to explore further. I believe that the new design is supportive of the personae of the blog. My intention was to write about marketing issues in a voice that was edgy but smart, sophisticated but sassy. Often, not all the time, but to make a point and add some fun I include references to cosmos, as well as, pink boas and designer shoes. It's been well received by both men and women.

Recently I showed the design to a client, a conservative Fortune 50 company along with the much more conservative creative of my "corporate website" Bloomberg Marketing. They loved the blog design. Will be interested in your readers, feedback.

Thanks for kindly challenging TDaivd...good for the soul ;-) Oh and thanks for pointing out the tech stuff...passed the word to Peter.
