It’s not very many sites that ever reach the ten million mark. Sure, there are some like Craig’s list, eBay and numerous adult sites that blow that type traffic away, but for a writing based blog site that’s very impressive.

At the end of our first year we had 1.5 million page views, 13,817 comments, 7162 entries, and 311 Blogcritics writers. In our second year we had 4 million page views (2-year total of 5.5 million), 61,177 comments (total of 74,994), 10,140 entries (total of 17,302), and 522 writers. Nice growth.

My hats off and congratulations to Eric Olsen, Phillip Winn and the rest of the hard working crew at Blogcritics for reaching this traffic level. I’ve been a happy contributer to Blogcritics on a number of levels, but very, very part-time based. Over the last two years I’ve submitted 44 posts and 1,429 comments to their site. My only regret is that I wish my time would have allowed me to contribute more.

Congratulations and may Blogcritics have many, many million more visitors. This is one of the top writing-oriented blog sites on the web, so I have no doubt they will continue to grow. Well done!
