I think Scoble gets beat up too much over knee-jerk reactions like this one. There are so many Microsoft trolls waiting to pounce. I use both MS and Apple products and have commented on Scoble's blog often about the failings of his employer, but at the end of the day, Scoble is a good guy who is passionate about his job.
