Rockstar games which makes the popular Grand Theft Auto series of games has had GTA San Andreas re-rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) to Adult Only from its previous rating of Mature. A downloadable mod for the game called Hot Coffee opens up access to some hidden sex scenes.

The publisher reminded the public that “the scenes depicted in the ‘Hot Coffee’ modification are not playable in the retail version of the game unless the user downloads and/or installs unauthorized software that alters the content of the original retail version of the title, representing a violation of Take-Two and Rockstar’s end user license agreement (EULA) and intellectual property rights

Just heard about this on the radio that this has led to Wal-Mart yanking the title from the shelves.

Long time readers might remember my extended look at GTA San Andreas with 67 screenshots (one shown above).

Rockstar says they will release a new version of GTA San Andreas in October which will not allow access to these adult scenes and sex minigame. Collectors hurry up and get your hands on the existing, uncrippled M-rated version while you still can. This one is going, going …

  5. you have to have the original, first version of the game, and then you can look for the small app to unlock the code that is in the FIRST version. Damn Rockstar for bowing to political CUNTS like Hilary Clinton. They should’ve left the code in there, and just gave it an AO rating thereby restricting the game to the rest of us that have been playing games for 20+ years!
