One thing we’ve done a lot of during this vacation is hit the pools. Probably the nicest pool to date was the one in Henderson, Nevada at Sunset Station, but last week the kids really enjoyed the pool at the Peppermill in Reno, Nevada.

It’s a good thing we have had pools because the heat has reached temperatures in excess of 115 degrees.

All three kids have mild burns and so does my wife. Somehow I’ve managed not to get burned so far as of this writing, but it’s not over yet.

There I am getting slammed by this huge waterfall at the Peppermill.
