I am pondering a similar road trip: two families, six people total, one van, Seattle to Disneyland. Want to hit a little bit of Oregon Coast, the Redwoods, then bomb down to LA for several days of Disneyland, Universal Studios, etc. Any idea what I can expect in terms of crowds at D-Land, and what days to go for fewer crowds? Thx.

Be prepaired for an ungodly amount of admission at Disneyland. It's like 60 or 70 bucks per person. Plus something like 5 to 6 bucks for a small soda or bottle of water.

Plus if you are coming down I5 just be aware that you can hit very nasty traffic jams around Santa Rosa heading into the Bay Area. Same with LA. So you might lose some time there.

Plus that drive from Salt Lake to Reno is the most boring ass drive known to man kind. Might want to invest in XM or Sirius. Well worth the money out there.

Best of luck and have much fun.

Al Franken, Make Zine, 2600 Magazine, Leo Laporte (the old Screen Savers, was called Revenge of the Screen Savers but that's illegal, now it's something else), The Dawn And Drew Show, KCRW's Le Show with Harry Shearer (many voices on the Simpsons). I thik all of these are available on iTunes 4.9. I don't know I haven't updated yet.
