<description>I live in Arizona.... Verizon is the same 'ALL OVER'.... If you have a problem they can not fix, They put the blame off on something else!, If that fails... you are suddenly transported to a 'NON-Coverage, or a Poor Coverage Area!'
My Computer and Verizon Card info will follow...
The thing that started with a 'V' that you mentioned is 'Venturi Client'.. Believe me, It IS what gives Verizon any speed (Ha!) at all!!

I had no problems Installing VZAccess Manager, or any of it's parts and pieces etc. Had a trouble free month or two.... Then all hell broke loose, Pages would NOT Load, Mail Client would NOT download Mail (Outlook Express, Internet Explorer) Most of the time would 'Time Out' then give error messages.

Venturi (where the problem lies) when contacted, Sent me to Verizon, Verizon would send me to Venturi... On and on it goes.
They told me to Delete Venturi altogether, After doing that, everything got even S-L-O-W-E-R. (if that's possable... It IS!!)

I finally got a person in Venturi Tech who was willing to help, I sent Test Results to him (I think) and although there was a MAJOR communication problem (imagine that... Tech persons who speak English poorly, or not at all!) we were making some progress on fixing the problem. He had me Re-Install the program again, making sure I had the Latest Version of the product (Version 3.3.3.23) It worked OK for about 3 days..... Then, Same old Crapola!!
The Venturi Client stops, or spins for a half of a second then stops..... Or the Icon is Purple but does nothing!
Bottom Line, Half the time, It is either NOT Functioning, or NOT functioning properly!
Without exaggeration..... "NOT a single Day goes by" that I do not have some major problem with Venturi"
Any one having the same, or similar problems, Please reply...
