Most power sellers already have their own storefronts and websites, but this new eBay Prostores premium service is aimed at expanding eBay sales beyond eBay.com.

EBay’s new ProStores service will allow sellers to design their own fixed-price e-commerce site with a unique Web address. The service, which costs $6.95 per month with fees ranging from .5 percent to 1.5 percent of transactions, will allow users to link their custom-built site to their eBay site and use PayPal, eBay’s popular online transaction service.

Some other new services added to eBay recently:

- buyer behavior reports (PDF) which shares information like “… a well timed listing will be live on Monday … with a 10 day auction” and “traffic is heaviest on Monday and Sundays.” Too bad it’s in a PDF file only.
