Instructions for how to be removed from Zabasearch

A couple months ago I wrote about a search engine that seemed “kind of scary” called Zabasearch. It contains personal information easily accessible and searchable online. Well, ironically enough it also apparently creeped out a guy named Stefek Zaba (no relation he emphatically states) and Mr. Zaba jumped through the hoops to figure out how to get removed from Zabasearch (pictured above). Zaba has been getting a bunch of remove me requests.

  1. I’m not sure what this site is about, If it’s regarding helping people to get their identity back! and not let ZabaSearch.com give it out, please help! I can’t figure out how to find their term and conditions that pop up to delete all information on me.

I did find the two sites to E-mail to,(optout@zabasearch.com,and info@zabasearch.com) requesting to remove my name from their site, and any other affiliates, and associates that thy may have given my identity too! Asking them to E-mail me their opt.out form; if they don’t in prompt time, they will be in a class action civil suite!

  4. Tresa Ziese - If you look on their website, they direct you to a “FIND LAW” news article. They CLAIM that this information is all available elsewhere online, to which I say BS. They have addresses for me with my exhusband and in-laws. HOW could they link MY MAIDEN NAME to THEM? It’s nowhere online!!

  5. I am on Zabasearch numerous times. Most of it is outdated or just plain incorrect. Unfortunately while what they are doing may morally reprehensible and in a gray area legally, I feel there is nothing we can do until the lawmakers we put in office get off their butts and pass the laws to restrict this site and others that may spring up like it.

  6. What I do find ridiculous is that anyone who has some outstanding debt is on there. This includes police officers, lawyers, etc. The information is not out of date, it is holistic. It ranges back as far as your credit history.

  7. You really can’t get off any of these sites unless you get a lawyer.
That is what a family member finally did. No one would respond for
his requests for removal until he got a lawyer. Unless they pass laws,
this will probably be the only way to do it.

  8. You can get removed from Zabasearch for a small fee. Go to the their homepage and look for the Opt Out link near the bottom of the page. I did it and it seems to work.
