Laptops now outselling desktops says study |
The firm, Current Analysis, who does not follow worldwide sales is reporting that laptops now have the edge over desktop systems:
… notebook sales accounted for 53 percent of the total personal computer market last month, up from 46 percent during the same period last year.
As of this writing, my usage of desktop vs. notebook/Tablet PC is probably 75/25. What’s yours? It has definitely increased since I purchased a Tablet PC.
The study is a bit unscientific if it doesn’t count the entire world, but wonder what the percentage of those notebooks are Tablet PCs? 5%? 10%? Any guesses?
