Earlier today I was listening to show #7 of the Tablet PC podcast and Lora Heiny was talking about the various Tablet PC sites that her family has part in (25 in total, I believe she said). She didn’t list them all but of the ones I took down those she mentioned and located the RSS feeds and created a quick webpage for convenient viewing (and subscribing to the RSS) from a browser for myself.

Since I believe in sharing with others here is the Heiny mini-Tablet PC aggregator: Tablet PC Heiny page. Lora/Layne/Loren & the rest of your nice family, if/when you see this if you have other RSS feeds I should add then go ahead and post them and I’ll add them to the page.

Any designers want to get fancy and create a background using a Tablet PC image and then the RSS feed headlines would fit inside the screen via table or CSS? I thought about cutting out my M1400 and piecing it together, but then said, nah, I’m a programmer, not a designer.

Hey, that is an easy way to read the sites!

My blog - Work & Play with Tablet PCs: http://spaces.msn.com/members/lora/feed.rss
    Layne’s blog - http://journals.tuxreports.com/lph/index.rdf

Some of the other tech sites are: MobileQuestions.com, LonghornBuzz.com, TuxReports.com (one of original sites, recently being picked up again), etc. You really got the good ones though. TabletPCCounter is under construction and will be our next tech site. (Anyone wanna help?)

Some of the other sites are for kids, politics, travel, or music. At least as of a few months ago when someone would search for HP Tablet news, they’d hit the kids sites run by my nieces. I’d receive “hey, I found your nieces through a search…” messages. They’d follow the links thinking they’d discovered new Tablet PC info when it was really HP (Harry Potter) and the Half-Blood Prince discussions along with the girls wishing they had their own Tablet PCs.

  3. A List Of The First Family Of Tablet PC Sites: TDavid

Listening to the Tablet PC Show #7 Podcast was a delight. The interplay between jk, Marc and Lora was a lot of fun and realizing that The First Lady of The First Family of Tablet PC’s was involved in some

  4. Hi Lora - sorry that the script held your comment for moderation. If there is more than one URL put in the body of a post it automatically holds comments for moderation. I need to mod the script so that I can turn that function on/off for specific posts like this one. Actually, Loren’s Incremental Blogger was already there (see bottom right corner). I just added your MSN Spaces blog, though. If/when you have others then just add the link to this thread. I added a link on that page to this thread to make it easy to get back here.

Thanks for the linkup Warner :)

BTW, this looks good in portrait mode on a Tablet PC slate. Sort of a bird’s eye view of the Heiny Tablet PC scene from any browser.

  5. As for help with TabletPCCounter, Lora? What kind of help do you need? You can contact me via Skype if you like on that one.
