Google Maps + Keyhole Imagery = mapping from space |
Google Maps is now merged with the Keyhole satellite imagery! Now people can get detailed driving directions and see a picture (albeit a sometimes outdated picture and from a long distance) showing the area via satellite. First linkdumped Keyhole on November 20, 2004. Google Maps is in beta and free. I doubt many people would pay for this unless the resolution was better, but it’s a curious use of blending programs.
