Have made two new additions to this blog. First, since the Yahoo! search API has been released (thanks to Jeremy Zawodny for the head’s up) I thought it would be cool to reformat our ugly blog search results page and make it more useful for both readers and myself, so I incorporated the top 10 Yahoo! search results along the right column and removed the other column. This is experimental and thus subject to change. I first informed those who have our official MakeYouGoHmm IE toolbar installed about this last night via the message area, and those who have done searches before seeing this post will have seen these changes.

Speaking of the toolbar, now that this site has in excess of 1,500 blog entries especially I find it very handy as a reference using that free toolbar which allows me to quickly and easily make searches. It doesn’t have any spyware or adware, so if you are an IE user, give it a try.

Secondly, this is very exciting for those who read the blog in portrait mode on a Tablet PC or a PDA or smartphone: a portable, easily readable version of Things That … Make You Go Hmm. You can find this special version here. There is no separate RSS feed since it’s essentially the same content as is contained here, just specially formatted so it’s easier to read in portable devices.
