Reporter vs. Doer |
Over the next couple weeks I’m going to be less in the blog reporter mode and more in the “doer” mode. I’m currently finishing up a couple of different coding projects, some of which I’m very excited about, but this will almost certainly take away some of my time from updating this particular blog, though some of the others we have will be updated more. I hope this lull in activity won’t spoil the momentum and traffic building here.
This morning I contributed an article on analyzing RSS traffic against web traffic to the Cyberwurx Hosting blog:
If you don’t have an RSS feed, you are missing out on traffic! Fortunately, most blogs come with RSS feeds, but RSS feeds do not have to be limited to only blogs, nor should they be. If you have articles or news that isn’t in a blog and/or already available in RSS, then you should strongly consider syndicating this content in RSS format to take advantage of this growing area.
Scoble recently went into a quality rant over No RSS? No Downloads? No interaction? Fake content? You’re Fired! which many others have commented on. Well worth reading the exchange.
Did this post make you go hmm?
