Northern Voice #2: Robert Scoble: “How I read 1000 blogs a day.” |

Scoble is showing how he uses Outlook to consume mass numbers of RSS feeds a day at northernvoice:
- Highlighted entries since last time read blog shows the new blog entries.
- IE 7 will probably have some sort of auto RSS discovery
- He uses Pubsub frequently which helps him do keyword RSS searches.
- He will unsubscribe if: blogger gets racist, not having full text RSS feed, maybe if it becomes boring
- Dave Winer called during Scoble’s presentation. He didn’t take the call.
- Fake blogging is bad news, don’t do it. Be real.
- If there is a problem, acknowledge it. Example given of the Kryptonite lock fiasco.
- A hint was dropped that Outlook may include some sort of RSS reader integration. It wasn’t what Scoble said, it’s what he didn’t say.
Scoble’s presentation was similar to his Bloggercon speech.
Did this post make you go hmm?
