POP3 email syncronization solutions?

default — by TDavid @ 11:13 am PST

One strength of online email programs is the ability for users to access the email from anywhere as opposed to having to choose a primary email machine or use some sort of syncronization. This morning I’m working with a machine that needed a complete OS reinstall and I’ve been thinking about email syncronization and the best way to handle this. What other solutions are people using who have many different computers (including a PDA) to manage their POP3 email so it is syncronized across multiple machines over a LAN? Suggestions? Links?

  1. Forget POP3 and just move over to the goodness of IMAP. I switched to IMAP over 4 years ago and never regretted it.
