Tablet PC usage: poorly-drawn cartoons inspired by actual spam subject lines! |

I don’t know if the author, Steven Frank (?), of this creative site spamusement uses a Tablet PC or not, but this would be one creative use for one if he was. One of the common knocks on the Tablet PC is: what could it be used for? Here’s one good idea!
I see some references to a Mac on the homepage so my guess is no, it’s being done with some sort of writing tablet and a Mac. The concept of the spamuseement site is simple: amusing, poorly-drawn cartoons inspired by actual spam subject lines! One thing I found is that though the artist said they were “poorly-drawn” they were a lot better than I could draw.
So this site inspired me to dig through my own spam folders, pull out a random spam message with the subject line: “faster cheaper meds”, fire up the Tablet PC and ArtRage and make the five minute drawing pictured above. Clever website and great way to turn a negative (the spam the vast majority of the world hate) into a positive!
Did this post make you go hmm?
