As you can see, search engine optimization has many definitions.
Many state it has to do with html, metatags, keywords, site rankings in
search engines, etc.

What is SEO really?
Optimization of everything related to your website, to rank high or favorably in search engines.

Optimization of just content, links or link building are all apart of
search engine optimization. I believe most definitions fail to describe
what search engine optimization (SEO) is exactly. So that one sentence
above is the short version of a good definition of SEO.

A Deeper Look at Search Engine Optimizations
There are many parts of search engine optimization. For me it starts with the domain name. That is just step one.  Then there is researching your theme or niche, includes keyword research and competition. Next you will need to learn how to optimize your content, also called content seo. Optimizing content on your website should be done on every page you add to your website, so optimizing content is long term seo.

Then there is internal link structure seo. This covers linking from one page to another within your own website. Next there is external link building,
again with this type of optimization link structure must be examined.
External link building, is obtaining links from other websites or web
sources that lead to your own website.

Search Engine Optimization Tactics
There are many things that should be considered when you structure
your website, build your content, researching themes, internal and
external link building. If you believe search engine optimization is
simple, it really isn’t. This doesn’t mean a good web developer cannot
do search engine optimization sucessfully. Many can, from the knowledge
they have or their own experiences while building websites.

Over the coming weeks, I will continue to provide information from my
