Besides that I think they've really come along ways in terms of expanding the Tivo to better compete against media center boxes. Although I think that the Media center boxes provide a better experience in terms of expandability and features, my wife still clings onto the Tivo remote and refuses to try anything else. I think you should look into getting a dual tv card, putting both cable boxes to your pc, and using the media center extender to broadcast the shows all over your house.
