Wendland on worst product of year: Internet Explorer |
Detroit Free Press technology columnist and NBC-TV News Channel Internet correspondent, Mike Wendland, read Jim Louderback’s list at PC Mag on the worst product s of the year and chose his own nomination:
Topping my list is Internet Explorer. It’s nothing but a worm hole, the most problematic piece of software I’ve encountered because of it’s never-ending security vulnerabilities.
It’s kind of hard to argue against this choice, but it would have been nice if he had listed more specific items that made IE suck so bad. Maybe he is saving that for a future column or NBC piece? I listed ways that I thought Microsoft could improve Internet Explorer here: 4 ways Internet Explorer could improve. How/what do you think would make Internet Explorer better?
Did this post make you go hmm?
