Tablet PC artists in the making |

The other night at the Seattle blogger meetup I asked for some good Tablet PC apps to download and I was turned onto Art Rage (FREE) which I downloaded right away. This morning I finally installed and it wasn’t long before our two younger kids were lurking nearby and wanting to play around with it (Jowl isn’t interested in drawing, it seems). There’s a picture of our middle son, Sean, using a ruler with his ArtRage drawing. I’m no artist, but our youngest son drew the picture above. Here he is pictured below working on it:
He prefers portrait mode, just like his dad, which I think is the ideal mode for Tablet PC. It’s great for reading blogs because of the usually longer narrow columns.
I have to download Zinio and read my PC Magazine subscription through the Tablet PC in portrait mode. I’ve been using Zinio for over a year and a half now and it’s a cool way to read digital magazines. I thought at first I might not like it, because you can’t roll up a digital magazine, but the search functionality and ability to clickthru from links to the web is a natural for magazines that have links.

What kind of Tablet is that?
It’s really nice
