Turn on, off or modify AutoCorrect options in Outlook |
Outlook by default kept changing the capital “D” in my name from being TDavid to read Tdavid, so I had to constantly backspace and refix. Doh! Much easier solution, create an exception for the double capital letter fix (which normally would be an error). Here’s the how-to for turning on and off AutoCorrect straight from Microsoft:
- From the main Microsoft Outlook window, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Spelling tab.
- Click AutoCorrect Options
- To select the options, do one or more of the following:
- To set the capitalization options, select or clear the appropriate check boxes in the dialog box.
- To turn on or off the AutoCorrect entries, select or clear the Replace text as you type check box.
Did this post make you go hmm?
