Internet piracy case shelved by Supreme Court |
In another decision of indecision the Supreme Court has backed off – at least for the time being – from the subject of internet piracy via this story from the Washington Post:
The Supreme Court on Tuesday sidestepped a dispute over whether Internet providers can be forced to identify subscribers illegally swapping music and movies online.
This is what frustrates me about the courts: make a damn decision already. Now we’ll have to endure story after story commenting on the fact that the Supreme Court didn’t make a decision yet. Wait, that’s what I’m doing here. Is it any coincidence that the election is coming up and decisions like this don’t happen before an election?
Did this post make you go hmm?
