Just give your lost dog a call |
Before you say, “I’ve seen everything” check out what’s coming from Pet’s Mobility: a doggy cell phone!
The patent pending PetsMobility’s PetsCell (TM) will be compatible with existing cellular and satellite GPS technology. The PetsCell (TM) will allow pet owners to talk to their pets as well as allowing owners to request assistance should they become incapacitated and require help. In addition, and perhaps more valuable, pet owners will have a piece of mind that if their pet is lost and someone finds their pet wandering the streets, with a simple press of a button on the PetsCell (TM), the auto dial function will dial the owners home alerting the owner to retrieve their pet.
Despite my defacing of the ad picture (only for hmm purposes, of course, I have absolutely no idea how safe this product is or isn’t), I do actually wonder at least a little bit about cell phone radiation concerns. Of course what they are going to do to those monkeys — infecting them with the 1918 flu virus that killled 30 million people — is far more heinous than radiation leakage from cell phones. For that matter, I don’t even like carrying my cell phone anywhere near me … thanks to fears over the radiation. But then I’m the same guy with my face surrounded by two CRT monitors most of the day, and that can’t be good in the radiation department either. But, hey, I’m sure Fido won’t mind. At least pet owners will be able to find him/her. I’m being serious: it sucks losing you wandering pet.
