High tech cell phone stalker |
Cell phones with GPS in them by default are just a bad idea, IMO. As an added option, fine, but included by default on every cell phone under the guise of being to “protect” you, me or anybody else is flawed. Here’s a case of cell phone GPS abuse gone wild from dailynews.com:
A Glendale businessman faces stalking charges that allege that he attached a cell phone with Global Positioning System technology to his ex-girlfriend’s car so he could track her every move and show up unexpectedly wherever she was.
If I want a GPS device then I’ll go buy one separately (which might actually be handy for helping us find houses we need to inspect in our insurance business).
