For those who were wondering when Microsoft would jump into the online music scene, it appears the wait will be over this Thursday according to a ZDNet article that Slashdot is currently working from every angle.

yonnage writes “Microsoft is expected to enter the online song store market this week, which should put the software giant head-to-head with Apple Computer in the music business at last.

I’m still with Napster, but happy to hear that Microsoft is starting their own store. More competition is good for consumers.
