What amazed me the most is how modern they appeared considering they started almost 40years ago when i was only 3yrs old.I remember watching most of them in the early seventies but found it a real treat to see certain episodes that i had never seen before. Some episodes a plain daft while others are really thought provoking. The main reason i started watching them again is that season one was on special offer at my local newsagents and so was season three,i had number2 for christmas. I know its a matter of opinion but the offshoot series Star trek Next Generation etc are not worth looking at. What makes the original series so good is that they are timeless and will remain so for the next 40yrs and because nothing like it had been seen before. How many sifi efforts have there been since 1969 too many and all because the original is still the best.May they find peace and prosper into the 22nd century.
