Yahoo free email storage to increase to 100MB |
Yahoo is planning to boost free email storage to 100MB.
Web portal Yahoo will begin offering “virtually unlimited storage” for its paid e-mail customers and will upgrade free users to 100MB, an executive said Thursday.
100MB = “virtually unlimited”? That’s a nice spin. But hey, it’s cool for Yahoo users that they get that much more space. Do Yahoo free email users have GMail to thank or is this just an odd coincidence?
Update: Doh! It appears I didn’t read this good enough with my new bifocals, because the “virtually unlimited” is for the pay users, Yahoo isn’t calling 100MB virtually unlimited. My bad.
