Google Gmail may allowing advertising opt-out |
It sounds like pressure from privacy groups over scanning email text and displaying relevant ads is wearing Google execs dow.
Asia Pacific Media Network: But asked whether Google would consider requiring users to opt in or out of the targeted advertising, Mr (Sergey) Brin was quoted as replying: “That idea is being batted about. We certainly wouldn’t rule it out.”
