Skype VoIP adds conference calling |
Thanks to Stuart Henshall who stopped by to let me know about Skype’s newly added feature: conference calling! Of course I had to check it out right away. I went and downloaded the beta test and installed [note: the direct URL is here but could change, so your best bet is to go with the official Skype download page]. Slick stuff, though our three-way conference call sounded a bit echo ridden, it’s beta and I’m sure they’ll get it together. Skype has now also achieved over 7 million downloads and have over 200,000 users online. This conferencing stuff is cool and a welcomed addition. I’m turning my Skype back on for awhile (see my Skype status indicator in the About section). Feel free to Skype me and let’s talk some biz!
