Janet Jackson Superbowl breast coverage |
Maybe the word debacle is overstated in this case, is that possible? You’ve probably heard by now that Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake pulled a fast one at the Superbowl on the halftime show Sunday by unclasping Janet’s outfit to display a bare breast on national TV for a half second. And puh-lease, Justin, don’t say that that incident was not staged. The FCC is looking into setting some fines to CBS and MTV and CBS had issued an apology for the incident around the end of the game. This incident proved to overshadow the incredibly, ridiculously prices Superbowl ads (which I think were pretty much craptacular this year). It’s a boob for goodness sake. A boob. Some of the finest coverage, pun intended, on the web on this Jackson boob incident can be found at Blogcritics.
And what about the game? It was good! Almost the first Superbowl overtime game ever. Carolina didn’t pull it out, but they covered the spread.
Did this post make you go hmm?

Go to my website to read the internal memo sent out to all MTV employees by MTV President Judy McGrath in regard to Janet’s boob. It’s real funny.
