Occasionally during the radio show on Fridays we will break away from technology and talk about weirder side of the world. If you want to hear the audio commentary of these articles, then tune into the radio show. The show starts at 2pm PST / 5pm EST every Friday.

- Man hid his dead mother in a bathtub in the backyard and continued to collect her pension. He said: had found his mother dead at home in the summer one day and had only done what she would have wanted.
- An EgyptAir pilot refused to take off because he said one of the passengers was too fat. He feared the flight would trigger medical problems in the woman. Three hours later he obliged and the plane took off.
