Awful Plastic Surgery

default — by TDavid @ 11:36 am PST

Why these celebrities go and get plastic surgery to stop the old age process I’ll never understand. Everyone knows the thing known as Jacko, but there are more subtle examples of plastic surgery gone bad. Wouldn’t you just know that somebody would blog about this phenomenon? Meg Ryan’s lips, Britney Spears multiple boob jobs, Marie Osmond’s joker mask and more at awfulplasticsurgery.com

Did this post make you go hmm?

  1. All of these ladies have made themselves laughingstocks with their ridiculous plastic suurgery(ies). I think it is really very sad. I mean, does anyone look at Meg Ryan in a picture or on film and not think “trout lips”. It is somewhat funny but it must be truly horrifying to the women in question.

  2. A year or so ago I made a comment on this site about celebrity cosmetic surgery. At the time, I thought my comment was aimed at people who make fun of well-known people who have perhaps too much done to themselves. I happened to look on-line and reread what I had written and was troubled as it did not articulate what I had tried to say and, in fact, sounded very cutting and ugly.

The point I was trying to make was that, once a well-known person has made themselves noticeable by doing a lot of obvious plastic surgery, they make themselves vulnerable to all kinds of unkind comments and name calling and, once you have heard those names or seen photos of the person, it is hard not too immediately notice the surgery or think of whatever name someone has attached to that person. Of course, this is not fair or kind or even important in the overall scheme of things. It is just one of the sadder ways the world is now.

My apologies if anyone has read or ever reads my initial comment. It was poorly phrased but not intended as an insult or unkind remark to anyone.
