Fixing Internet Explorer disappearing status bar |
Matthew offers this great tip at devhood to return that disappearing status bar in new windows using Internet Explorer:
The best way to get the status bar to show up is to go into a folder, say My Computer for example. Goto view and select status bar. Now go into Folder Options and select apply settings to all folders. Now whenever you open IE, or any new windows in IE, your status bar will show up.

Just a question how do i fix the blue bar right at the very top of ie, it used to have site name when browsing now it has 0ne letter, It would make me a happy geezer if you no how, cheers
