Tabasco Scratch Cards |
If I ever get to Louisiana — and my intention is to get there someday — Avery Island will be my very first stop. I will want to tour the place where they make my favorite sauce: Tabasco. I put that on everything that isn’t sweet: burgers, pizza, steak, fries, potatoes, vegetables, etc. I don’t do it on anything gross like ice cream or put it in my drinks or anything. It is not unusual for me to use one of the smallest bottles in a single setting. In the picture you’ll see me holding a Tabasco scratch card that my wife saw and just had to get me. As I was mentioning here that I think collecting is cool, I’m going to start collecting Tabasco-related items. Maybe I’ll start one of the first Tabasco blogs and update it whenever I find something Tabasco-related. I just Googled Tabasco and came up with plenty of sites to check out. I wonder who else that is stopping by has food fetishes. Click the comments link and tell me about it. Don’t forget your blog URL if you have one.
Did this post make you go hmm?

Tabasco sauce on scrambled eggs and on *anything* served in an MRE (Meals, Ready To Eat) by all means!
Good luck @ Blogathon!

I am not a big fan of Tabasco sauce, but a funny story about it:
At a job I had at a restaurant we could have a meal for every shift that we worked. I almost always had a hamburger and fries (loved them steak fries - and it was the only thing I could afford at the time). Anyways, one time I sat down in the make shift break room to eat and poured the ketchup on the hamburger and the plate for the fries. I took one bite and my mouth was BURNING! I like hot sauce, but the mild kind. It seems that someone played a joke on me and dumped the entire bottle of Tabasco sauce in the ketchup bottle. I am sure you are thinking, not that hot and for you you would be right. However, for me, it was.
