(source: Miami Herald). I went into business nearly 10 years ago and just the technology I’ve seen change is stunning. The company was married to IBM technology and using the old system 36 and then switch to AS400 and now they are moving everything to the web. I have in my hands a letter from company reps telling me to stop collecting emails from clients because it was not a secure method of communicating company business and today they are actively encouraging us to get email addresses from clients. So yes, I’ve seen the changes firsthand that technology has made to the way business is getting done. It’s funny but the website for our offline business is crap, I have to update that.
