If this doesn’t make you go Hmmm nothing else will. VisionAndPsychosis.Net is about a conflict of human physiology that has shaped human history. Almost no one knows the problem exists.
Fifty years ago engineers were surprised when workers in newly designed compact close-spaced workstations began to have bizarre or psychotic episodes. The problem was peripheral vision reflexes. The solution by the 1960’s was the Cubicle.
For 3000 years Yogis attempted to reach a higher plane of existence. They claim to be able to levitate, dematerialize at will, read minds and move objects by thought. They reached this mental state through the phenomenon on VisionAndPsychosis.Net. When Yoga is practiced in groups each person can subliminally see the movement of the person beside them causing repeating subliminal peripheral vision reflexes. Over enough time they will have a psychotic mental break. That psychotically altered mental state is the higher plane of existence.
The Everquest Connection page explains the psychology of what happens and related it to MMORPG players. You may remember that Shawn Woolley’s mother sued Sony believing that Everquest addiction caused his suicide.
